Rental Assistance

If you are in need of rental assistance, you may be eligible for DHCD’s Rental Allowance Program. For information regarding income limits, please visit the RAP information page. For assistance with the Rental Allowance Program, please contact one of the local Administering Agencies.

Qualified applicants may obtain assistance with rental security deposits through the Tenancy Program at United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP) Call 301-322-5700.

Support Services

There are other supportive services in your area, such as the United Way’s 211 / First Call for Help which can be reached by calling 1-800-492-0618, or in most regions, 211.
